Timing Belt Drives with Servo Motors
Isel linear units LEZ 6, LEZ 7, LEZ 8 and LEZ 9 with belt drive are designed for quick and dead-on positioning and therefore are qualified for the application in handling, assembly automation and machine handling. Due to the solid and bed-proof aluminium construction, they are preferably used for processing, positioning and transporting parts and work pieces. Even an application which is cantilever and not mounted to a substructure is possible within certain limits due to the warp |

The linear units are designed modularly. Base of the timing belt feed axes are anodized aluminium extrusion-pressed-profiles, which are available in length of up to 6000 mm. To fasten the feeds, the LEZ 7 and 8 profiles are equipped with T-grooves on the bottom side and the LEZ 6 and 9 profiles provide fixing holes. The profiles take on the precision steel shafts to guide the carriages. The patented isel carriages with ball recirculation are used as guide carriages. The open version of the feed axes are equipped with HDT belts. Depending on the type of feed axis the spacing and width of the belts are different: LEZ 8/9: 3mm spacing/ 15 mm width LEZ 6/7: 5 mm spacing/ 25 mm width. The drive belts run over bilaterally supported steel pinions. The possible maximum speed also depends on the type of feed axis: LEZ 6: max. 5 m/s, LEZ 7/8 : 2 m/s, LEZ 9 : 3 m/s. The timing belt feed axes are also available without drive module with protruding shaft ends for the mounting of drive modules supplied by the customer. It is preferred to apply isel servo motors which represent highest possible dynamics and positioning accuracy. It is possible to assemble combinations in compound-, H- and multiple axes arrangements with special connection angles, which are adjusted to the individual timing belt feed axes. |
